Constraints in management |
- Small Area: Leads
to spill over of animals to the adjoining agricultural
fields at the time of scarcity, making them vulnerable
to poaching, accidents and attacks by stray dogs.
- Lack of
Physical barrier: Tal Chapar Sanctuary is surrounded
from all sides by dense human habitation and
Agricultural Fields. The animals many a time wander
outside and fall prey to stray dogs.
- Scarcity of fresh
water: Tal Chapar doesn’t have any perennial water
source.
- Scarcity of Fodder:
As the area is small the natural fodder gets exhausted
by end of thr march.
- Inadequate Staff:
The Sanctuary doesn’t have sufficient staff for day to
day Protection, Management and Tourism.
- Lack of infrastructure
facilities to promote tourism.
